Two good options. How do you choose? The I Ching will not choose for you. It shows you what you are actually hesitating about.
What this page is (self-contained)This page is about "Should I take this offer?". It does not answer should you or should you not. It breaks the question into one path across three hexagrams: 讼, 履, 豫, standing for three different sticking points. Reading it gives you checkable facts (number, trigrams, inner hexagram) and one step you can take today. It gives no verdict, predicts nothing, and does not decide for you.
Anyone who chooses for you is choosing on your behalf, and taking on the risk if it goes wrong. Even the worst outcome of your own choice teaches you something. The best outcome of someone else's choice does not.
Start here. This one is not about having chosen wrongly. It is about whether you are actually comparing the same thing twice.
You are in an argument you are winning. You have reasons laid out clearly enough to list them. The other side knows it too. What you cannot swallow is not the fact — it is the feeling of being treated as unimportant. So it goes on well past the thing that started it.
Does this sound like you
The evidence was enough long ago, and I am still looking for more.
It has shifted from what to do about this to how he could treat me like this.
It has dragged on, and whoever backs down first loses.
Every time I see them, the feeling comes back.

In one line
When it is a real conflict, stop imagining you can have both. Either change the structure, or make your stake bigger.
One action
Write down what you actually want here: a resolution, an apology, or for it to be admitted that you were right?
One question
If nobody knew I won this, would I still push?
Do just this today
Today, write the dispute in three lines and send it to someone outside it, and see whether they can read it.
What this does not doThis does not tell you to back down, and it does not tell you to fight on. It only lets you separate the thing from the face.
Most likely misuseThe easiest misuse is to treat being right as a licence to keep going. Being right is a condition, not a permit.
How this moves forwardThe way forward is not another comparison table. It is writing down the one thing you actually want. There will always be more options, but only you know which one it is.
If the fear is not being good enough once you are in
This one is about something else: are you worried about what the new place will demand, or about what the new title expects of you?
You are in a position that sits above what you have actually built. Other people treat you according to your title, and you know that a good part of what that title requires has not been filled in yet. So you move carefully, make no mistakes, and dare do nothing that could be noticed.
Does this sound like you
People call me an expert and I quietly doubt it.
The title moved up; the ability did not follow.
I avoid making decisions in case it shows I am not qualified.
I am carefully maintaining a position I have not actually settled into.
Where parts do not interact, there is no whole to speak of.
One action
Write the three abilities this position requires, and mark each one enough or not enough.
One question
Am I building into the position, or protecting it?
Do just this today
Today, write down what is already enough, and for what is not, find the one most relevant person to contact.
What this does not doThis does not tell you to resign, and it does not tell you to white-knuckle it. It only makes visible where the pressure actually comes from: the mismatch between the position and what you have, not any flaw in you.
Most likely misuseThe easiest misuse is to read this as a verdict that you do not belong. A mismatch is structural. Turning a structural problem into a verdict about your own worth is the most expensive mistake available here.
How this moves forwardThe way forward is not asking everyone. It is asking the one person whose answer you actually already know matters. Everyone else pulls you back into comparing.
If you are waiting for someone else to say it is the right one
The hardest part here: the people you are waiting for are waiting too. That is exactly why this never gets decided.
Everyone is waiting, so nothing has started. Nobody moves first, so nobody moves. You already have an idea. Before saying it out loud you check the room, because if you go first you carry the risk of everyone who did not.
Does this sound like you
Everyone knows it should be done, and everyone is waiting for someone else.
My idea matches everyone else's, but no one says it first.
Judge by the exchange, not the volume. Without exchange, no amount of loudness gets you in sync.
One action
Today, say it once in the group: I will do this part, tell me if you are in.
One question
Whom am I waiting for? If nobody moves, does this simply never happen?
Do just this today
Today, write the plan you already have into one sentence and send it to the group.
What this does not doThis does not tell you to be the one who goes first, and it does not tell you to keep waiting. It only makes visible where the cost of collective waiting lands — on whoever has the least patience.
Most likely misuseThe easiest misuse is to turn this into pressure to be the one who volunteers. Using it that way makes you the free first mover, and that is the most common way people lose here.

Part two · The honest part
This page will not choose for you. But there is one thing worth stating plainly: the difference between two good options is almost never as large as the days you have spent turning them over. The time already spent thinking costs more than the gap you are trying to measure. The real cost is not the moment of choosing. It is whether you can let go of the option you did not take. Many people do not choose badly. They choose, keep the other door open, and end up with neither.
Part two · Which one is you
Do not overthink it. Pick the closest one. Claiming it yourself is more reliable than being guessed at.
Nothing here generates a prediction, and nothing you pick is uploaded.
